City Of Elk Grove: Elk Grove OWL Opens Friday, December 31

The Elk Grove Overnight Warming Location (OWL) Cooperative will open a warming location at Good Shepard Catholic Church located at 9539 Racquet Court Friday through Sunday, December 31 through January 2.

A warming location will open this week based on RealFeel temperatures expected to dip below freezing two days in a row.

The OWL is open to adults 18 and older who lack shelter or adequate home heating. Nightly operating hours are 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. Pets are not permitted. Families with children will be referred to a motel voucher program coordinated by EG HART.
