Elk Grove police are on the lookout for a man they say robbed a Shell station on Harbour Point Drive at gunpoint Dec. 1. Police say Hou Lee, 32, also has two felony warrants for his arrest and should be considered armed and dangerous. A department press release describes him as Laotian, five-foot-six and about 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. According to a police account of the robbery, Lee took a soda from a refrigerator case and went to the counter to pay for it, then whipped out a handgun and demanded money. He escaped with the cash on foot, police say. No one was hurt. Anyone who may have spotted Lee can call the Elk Grove Police Department Detective Bureau at (916) 478-8060 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357).
