Elk Grove Jewelry Store Robbed, Five in Custody (Updated)
A Laguna Boulevard store was robbed Thursday afternoon, police said.
UPDATE: Elk Grove Police have detained five people in connection with a jewelry store robbery Thursday.
Officials say they found "handguns and stolen property" inside the suspects' vehicle.

Original post: Elk Grove Police are searching for one suspect and have detained three in connection with the robbery of a local jewelry store.
Police reported Thursday afternoon that Guzzi Fine Jewelers, 5060 Laguna Blvd., was robbed. Police said a vehicle suspected of being involved fled the scene.

Police located the vehicle and have detained three people, officials said.
Officers have established a perimeter and are looking for one suspect.
