The Elk Grove Overnight Warming Location (OWL) Cooperative will open a warming location at Elk Grove United Methodist Church located at 8986 Elk Grove Boulevard on Wednesday and Thursday, December 22 and 23.

A warming location will open this week based on a 75% probability of rainfall for at least two consecutive days.

The OWL is open to adults 18 and older who lack shelter or adequate home heating. Nightly operating hours are 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. Pets are not permitted. Families with children will be referred to a motel voucher program coordinated by EG HART.
