Saturday's 'Taste of Elk Grove' Will Fund Local Service Projects
The Rotary Club of Laguna Sunrise will host its only fundraiser for the year, the Taste of Elk Grove, on Saturday.

Dozens of local restaurants, breweries and wineries will come together this weekend to both feed Elk Grove residents and raise money for projects to help the city's less fortunate.
The Rotary Club of Laguna Sunrise will hold its ninth-annual Taste of Elk Grove Saturday. It's the club's only fundraiser each year, and brings in money the group uses to buy dictionaries for local kids, build homes in Elk Grove's sister city in El Salvador, and to help the Teen Center USA, the Elk Grove Food Bank, the Elk Grove Senior Center and others.
"Taste of Elk Grove funds our whole year of service projects," Rotary President-Elect Angela Spease said, noting last year's event brought in about $33,000 and organizers hope to exceed that amount this year.
