The National Weather Service is predicting rainy weather through Tuesday night, with things likely clearing up by Wednesday.

The National Weather Service is predicting a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in Elk Grove throughout the day Tuesday that will give way to a 90 percent chance for rain by the evening.

That's right. Residents in Elk Grove can expect mostly cloudy skies, with a high near 76, south winds from 6 to 9 mph becoming west and new rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, with higher amounts possible in thunderstorms, according to the NWS.
