Want Some Free Pulled Pork? Dickey's Barbecue Opens in Elk Grove Thursday
Barbecue chain will give pulled-pork sandwiches to first 100 people in line.
Dickey's Barbecue Pit will open its new Elk Grove location Thursday, a spokesperson told Elk Grove Patch. To draw the crowds, they'll be giving away free pulled-pork sandwiches to the first 100 customers.
The restaurant, at 5110 Laguna Blvd, will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday.
In a press release last month, local franchise owner Jared Katzenbarger said he thought the quick-serve restaurant would succeed because there's "not that much barbecue" in Elk Grove.
