December at the Library: Winter Solstice Songs and More
Here's what's coming up at the Encino-Tarzana Library for the rest of December.
The staff and friends of the have a whole schedule of events planned for the holiday season!
Dec. 9 and 10, 10 a.m to 5:30 p.m.: : The gift store from the Los Angeles Central Library will be in Encino for two days only. It offers a collection of fun and eclectic gifts and goods. Gift-wrapping available. Click here for more information.
Dec. 14, 3-5 p.m: Persian movie screening. Gray will be shown with English subtitles.

Dec. 15, 4-5 p.m: Teen Council. Help plan library branch events and have some input about what materials and programs the library offers to teens.
Dec. 16, 4-5 p.m: Teen Chefs Program: Make holiday celebration sticks—long pretzels dipped in chocolate. They make great gifts for the holidays. Refreshments provided.

Dec. 21, 1 p.m: Friends of the Library Board meeting.

Dec. 22, 5:30-7 p.m: Book Lovers Club.
