Fire Damages Mobile Home in Canoga Park

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a mobile home fire in Canoga Park Thursday afternoon.

CANOGA PARK, CA — A fire damaged a mobile home in Canoga Park Thursday, but no one was hurt.

Firefighters sent to the 8900 block of North Eton Avenue at 12:31 p.m. extinguished the flames in 21 minutes, said Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The fire was confined to the kitchen area, Prange said.

"The cause of the fire appears to be cooking-related," Prange said.

A woman in her 90s and her caregiver got out of the mobile home safely, Prange said.
