The City of Los Angeles offers several ways for businesses to avoid various charges, according to the Chamber.

For many local businesses, the City of Los Angeles can at times charge what seem like lofty fees for the most incidental needs. However, the City has many ways to work with local enterprises to avoid, or mitigate the impact, most fees.
On November 15th, the will have Nazario Sauceda, the Interim Director of the Bureau of Street Services, as a guest speaker at the Business and Professional Development Lunch.
Mr. Sauceda will be discussing the avenues possible for fee reductions and avoidance. He will also discuss several ways the City of Los Angeles can help business thrive. Diana Donovan, CEO of the Encino Chamber of Commerce, is certain Mr. Sauceda will provide an array of ideas to help local business.
“We're excited to offer this opportunity of working with the city to our membership," Donavan said. "Community improvement projects can get done and business owners can save some money by contracting with city workers... It's a win-win for everyone.”
