ENCINO, CA — A 37-year-old man was shot to death in Encino, authorities said Sunday.
The shooting occurred at about 11:40 p.m. Saturday at 4532 Grimes Place, according to Officer D. Orris of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim was near his vehicle when he was shot multiple times, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Orris said.

Detectives were working to determine whether the shooting was related to a party that was taking place near the shooting, he added.
No suspect information was available.
