VAN NUYS, CA – On June 10, 2023, Clarence F. Smith Daylight Lodge, No. 866, Free and Accepted Masons of California, will host its Open House/Information Meeting to top off its public awareness campaign begun in March. See, https://patch.com/california/encino/masonic-lodge-begins-public-awareness-campaign-end-open-house-nodx . The public is invited. Details follow below.

As the reader may know, Freemasonry is the world’s first and largest fraternal organization, based on the belief that a man who strives to improve himself can also improve his community and the world at large. The Daylight Lodge is one of the local “chapters” of the fraternity. See, http://clarencefsmith.org. With about 60 members, the Lodge is very diverse. Masons welcome men of all ethnic backgrounds and religious beliefs.

Most Worshipful Randall Brill, Grand Master of Masons in California, recently proclaimed: “Our fraternity is not a secret; it’s important we share it with the world so that we can make an even bigger difference in our communities.”

At the meeting, one can learn about Freemasonry and the rewards of belonging to a Masonic Lodge. (Please note that one of Freemasonry’s traditions is that Masons do not solicit members; Masons say, “To Be 1, Ask 1.”).
