ENCINO, CA — A crash involving seven or eight vehicles snarled traffic and closed lanes on the 101 in Encino, according to reports.

The crash happened on the northbound lanes of the 101 near Hayvenhurst Avenue. Traffic was backed up to Laurel Cyn Boulevard. Video showed four left lanes were blocked around 7 a.m., with cars slowly passing the wreck in the right lane.

The crash was reportedly cleared just after 8 a.m., though traffic was backed up to Highway 134.

Video posted on Twitter appeared to show two SUVs, a pickup truck and two cars blocking four lanes. Traffic slowed on both sides of the 101.
