Murals: Advertisements or Art?

The city is looking to redefine its ordinance on the subject. What do you think?

It's a hot-button issue in Los Angeles, as an article in the Los Angeles Times Tuesday made clear, and it's one that is currently being revisited. Murals, currently subject to the same regulations as billboards under the city's sign ordinance, may soon be considered as art and, as such, protected by the First Amendment.
