Officer Struck by Vehicle in Valley, May Have Broken Leg
A 44-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

A Los Angeles police officer was undergoing x-rays for a possible broken leg after being struck by a vehicle in Sherman Oaks early today.
The accident occurred near the intersection of Van Noord Avenue and Sarah Street around 12:10 a.m., said Los Angeles police Sgt. Randy Modrell.
A 44-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI, Modrell said. An investigation was under way.

Police did not immediately say what the officer was doing when he was struck.
