Patch Whiz Kid of the Week: Blake Netel

This week's Encino Whiz Kid is Blake Netel.

Age: 16

School: Westmark School

Accomplishment: Blake has dedicated more than 100 hours to different organizations around his community, including , We Spark, Walk for Kids and Ronald McDonald House. He was also a coach at Balboa Park for boys and girls age 3 to 11. He has maintained a cumulative 3.8 GPA, is student body treasurer at Westmark and plays on the varsity basketball team. Blake has achieved much despite having attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Keys to Success: A positive outlook, great sense of humor and boundless enthusiasm.
