Police Blotter: Thefts and Burglaries

The following crimes in Encino were reported to the Los Angeles Police Department during January 5-11, as compiled by the Los Angeles Times.

Jan. 5

A petty theft was reported at 9:15 p.m. in the 17800 block of Ventura Boulevard.

Jan. 6

A petty theft from vehicle was reported at 8 a.m.  in the 17000 block of Mooncrest Drive.

A burglary was reported at 10:15 a.m. in the 5100 block of Densmore Avenue.

A burglary was reported at 11:10 p.m. in the 18000 block of Rodarte Way.

Jan. 7

A burglary from vehicle was reported at 4:30 p.m. in the 17000 block of Ventura Boulevard.

A burglary from vehicle was reported at 5 p.m. in the 5700 block of White Oak Avenue.

A burglary from vehicle was reported at 10 p.m. in the 5400 block of White Oak Avenue.

Jan. 8

A burglary was reported at 4:02 a.m. in the 17900 block of Ventura Boulevard.

A burglary was reported at 7:45 a.m. in the 15400 block of Ventura Boulevard.

A burglary was reported at 3 p.m. in the 5500 block of Balboa Boulevard.

Jan. 9

A burglary from vehicle was reported at 12:38 a.m. in the 17900 block of Burbank Boulevard.

A burglary from vehicle was reported at 9 p.m. at the intersection of Killion and Newcastle.

Jan. 10

A petty theft from vehicle was reported at 6:45 p.m. in the 17600 block of Burbank Boulevard.

An attempted shoplifting was reported at 9:15 p.m. in the 16400 block of Ventura Boulevard.

Jan. 11

A petty theft from vehicle was reported at 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Mulholland Drive.
