A state Amber Alert was issued Monday evening to help locate two siblings who authorities believe were abducted in San Diego County.
Hannah and Ethan Anderson went missing from the rural desert city of Boulevard along the Mexico border.
Hannah, 16, is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 115 pounds. She's blonde and has blue eyes, a belly button ring, nose stud and pierced ears.
Ethan, 8, is 4 feet 11 inches, weighs 65 pounds and has sandy blonde hair. His eye color is unknown.
According to CNN, the Amber Alert was issued after the siblings' mother was found dead inside a burned-out hose. A child's body and that of a dog were found in the building a well, CNN reported.
Authorities have named James Lee DiMaggio, 40, as a suspect. DiMaggio is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He has been photographed with a dark goatee and clean shaven, according to La Mesa Patch.
DiMaggio was last seen driving a blue, four-door Nissan Versa with California license plate 6WCU986.
