Traffic Advisory: Street Closures Planned for Purim Carnival

Plan your route around the carnival during its set-up Saturday, and the day itself.

Temple Judea will be celebrating Purim with a street carnival on March 11, and the LAPD Valley Traffic Division issued a traffic advisory with street closure information.

On both Saturday Mar. 10 and Sunday Mar. 11, streets will be blocked off on Lindley from Killion Avenue to Ventura Boulevard. The closures start at 6 p.m. on Saturday evening and remain in effect until 8 p.m. Sunday night.

Drivers should plan an alternative route, or park and join in the fun! For details of the carnival, click here to visit the Purim page on Temple Judea's website. The fair will include rides and food stands, Epic Salon haircuts for $25 (with proceeds going to benefit Temple Judea), a raffle, puppet show, petting farm, a climbing wall, and more.
