Victoria Bourdas Martinez - CEO, Greater Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce

“The UCC is excited to be recognizing women who have overcome unique challenges and found ways to serve their communities. We are honoring these women not only for their successes but for how they have inspired others, served as mentors and, through their contributions, made the San Fernando Valley a better place,” explained Jocz.

The UCC’s Inspirational Women Awards program annually recognizes women of outstanding achievement who have inspired others with their individual stories and accomplishments. Established by the UCC in 2015, it has become a distinguished and highly anticipated Valley tradition.

The UCC is a 16-member coalition of the San Fernando Valley’s chambers of commerce and represents 150,000 businesses in the Valley.

Organizations and businesses across the San Fernando Valley submitted more than 50 nominations for candidates. The honorees were chosen by a committee composed of previous award winners and community leaders. Honorees are selected from a wide array of business, social services, health care, education, community advocacy, arts, government and non-profit.

This year’s Inspirational Women of the San Fernando Valley Awards luncheon will be held May 11, 2023 at the Woodland Hills Country Club.

Keynote speaker at the event will be Los Angeles City Fire Chief Kristin Crowley, LAFD’s first female and LGBTQ fire chief.

Event tickets are $75 per person for chamber members and $85 per person for non-chamber members. According to Jocz, sponsorship opportunities sell out quickly. Sponsorships range from $350.00 to $2,500.00 and offer various levels of program prominence, advertising, VIP seating, publicity and logo recognition.

Program advertising ranges from $100-300.00 and ads are due no later than May 4, 2023.
