Early Morning Earthquake Shakes San Diego County
BREAKING: The earthquake was reported just after 4:12 a.m. Did YOU feel it?
SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — A magnitude 4.2 earthquake struck about 10 miles from Borrego Springs early Saturday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey. The temblor was reported around 4:12 a.m.
Residents throughout San Diego and Riverside counties reported feeling the temblor, according to the U.S.G.S. “did you feel it?” application.
It was centered 9.9 miles south of Borrego Springs, 30.5 miles northwest of Palm Springs and 44.1 miles northwest of Escondido.
