4 From Carmichael Graduate From Gonzaga University

Four Carmichael natives graduated recently from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash., school officials announced.

  • Adam McLaughlin, a alumnus, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice.
  • Theresa Ross of Carmichael graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
  • Morgan Robbins, who attended the now closed Loretto High School, graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology.
  • Joseph Belke graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology.

A commencement ceremony was held on May 13 in Spokane's Veterans' Memorial Arena, according to a Gonzaga press release.

Gonzaga is a private, Catholic, Jesuit university perhaps best known for its successful men's basketball program. It has about 7,800 students.
