Do You Recognize This Would-Be Bank Robber?
This man gave a bank teller near Carmichael a note demanding cash, but left before getting anything, authorities say.
Authorities are asking for the public's help in recognizing a man who tried to rob a bank near Carmichael, but fled before getting any money.
Sacramento County Sheriff's Department officials released video Monday of the man, who on March 1 tried to rob the Chase Bank at the corner of Watt Avenue and Fair Oaks Boulevard.
"He gave a teller a note demanding cash, but fled on a bicycle prior to obtaining any money," officials said in a press release.

On March 13, the same suspect entered the Bank of the West at 2851 Fair Oaks Blvd., and stood around for a few moments before being asked to leave. The video above is from that March 13 incident.

The suspect is described as a white male approximately 40 years of age, with a tattoo on the right side of his neck. He is 5’10” to 5’11” tall and weighs between 130 and 140pounds. He has worn a grey beanie with ‘LB’ on it, a black sweatshirt and black pants.
