alumnus Mark Imada graduated from the University of San Diego earlier this year, school officials announced.
Imada, a Carmichael native, graduated cum laude from the USD on May 27 with a bachelor's degree in sociology, according to a USD news release.
The University of San Diego is a private, Catholic university with about 7,800 undergraduate and graduate students.
