Tossed Fireworks Cause Truck Fire in Carmichael
No injuries reported as truck stops at El Camino/Garfield intersection.

Discarded fireworks started a fire in a garbage truck in Carmichael on Thursday morning, Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District officials confirmed.
The truck driver was passing through town when he noticed smoke coming out the back of the truck, CBS 13 reported.
The driver stopped the truck at the intersection of El Camino and Garfield avenues as crews cleaned up at about 5:45 a.m., Assistant Fire Chief Walt White confirmed to Carmichael Patch.
