• Deputy in crash in Fillmore, Simi storage facility targeted, more news (vcstar.com) — A Ventura County sheriff’s patrol SUV and another vehicle collided on Ventura Street at B Street in Fillmore on Dec. 9, leaving both drivers with minor injuries. The deputy was heading to a non-emergency call, and the California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. The roundup also notes an unrelated Simi Valley storage burglary and Ventura drug case.
