Police Log, April 26-28: Partially Eaten Rat Found in Yard

11:16 a.m. - Found Property - Occurred at Vibe on Shell Bl. Front counter RP turning in credit card found 20 minutes ago. Owner located and card returned.

3:23 p.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred at Gilead Sciences on Vintage Park Dr. Rp left her iPhone unattended and when she went to retrieve it, it was gone. Several workers on site delivering new furnishings. Phone finder shows it stationary at a building on Chess Drive. Officer diverted to a priority call. Rp re-contacted. Phone showed last location stationary at residence in EPA and then shut off.

3:27 p.m. - Trespassing - Occurred at Applied Biosystems on Chess Dr. Subject in dumpsters TRO rear of building. Associated vehicle is a green F150 with pallets.

3:31 p.m. - Accident w/ Injury - Occurred at Metro Center Bl/Shell Bl. Report of a vehicle accident with a subject trapped inside, airbags deployed. Fire and medics en route. Two non-preference tows called. Roadway cleared.

4:05 a.m. - Noise Complaint - Occurred at Courtyard By Marriott on Shell Bl. Complaint of lingering teenagers after the Prom. 

11:20 a.m. - Found Property - Occurred on San Miguel Ln. Found kayak. DPW to be contacted on Monday for removal.

11:55 a.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred on Foster City Bl. Rp reports theft of a scooter from the complex garage. Occurred sometime between 04/23/13 & TOR.

5:25 p.m. - Graffiti - Officer initiated activity at Chess Dr/Hwy 92. Officer locates graffiti on the overpass to the rear of the Crowne Plaza west lot.

6:31 p.m. - Unclassified - Occurred on Trinidad Ln. RP has found a dead rat in his yard and suspects it was thrown there in an attempt to intimidate him. Rat is partially eaten and appears to have been dropped by another animal.

8:02 p.m. - Residential Burglary - Occurred on Sea Spray Ln. RP reports that his balcony screen door was pried in a break-in attempt sometime between 1600 and 2000 hrs today.

8:39 p.m. - City Ordinance Violation - Occurred on Beach Park Bl/Tarpon. Homeless subject appears to have set up camp across from Bowditch on the beach area. Subject wearing black baseball cap, black jacket and khaki pants. Area walked from Tarpon to Halibut, UTL subject. 2 large couches and a wood lean-to setup; reported to DPW for removal.

11:52 a.m. - Animal Call - Occurred at Crane Av/Puffin Ct. Rp with older beagle dog with no collar on, that was roaming the neighborhood. Owner, who was looking for dog, arrived and was reunited with dog.

12:23 p.m. - Auto Burglary - Occurred on E Hillsdale Bl. RP reports that unknown person(s) burglarized his vehicle sometime between 0030 HRS and TOR. Wallet & engagement ring were taken.

3:07 p.m. - Auto Burglary - Occurred on Winchester Ct. RP reports that unknown person(s) burglarized his vehicle sometime between 0400 & 1600 HRS yesterday. Stolen was a silver 13" MacBook Pro laptop with a black cover.
