Police Log, April 5-7: Possible ATM Scam Reported

12:07 a.m. - Disturbance - Occurred on Balclutha Dr. RP reports her husband is bothering her. RP refuses to leave due to her cat being in the home, other party is HBD. Situation mediated/advice rendered. 

1:32 a.m. - Property Incident - Officer initiated activity at Foster City Bl/Marlin Av. Case taken for voluntary safekeeping of a gun. Gun entered into APS.

11:04 a.m. - Suspicious Circumstances - Occurred on Edgewater Bl. Front counter RP reports receiving harassing emails the past 2 weeks from unknown subject(s).

12:49 p.m. - Lost Property - Occurred on Shell Bl. Lost cell phone report at front counter. Phone turned in to PD shortly thereafter and RP notified. RP will return to PD to retrieve his phone. 

1:24 p.m. - Grand Theft - Occurred on Avalon Av. Front counter RP reports 4 packages were delivered/left on her front porch by UPS, but she never received them. RP had to leave and will return later to file a police report. 

3:14 p.m. - Fraud - Occurred on Metro Center Bl. RP just discovered use of a possible fraudulent American Express credit card. Occurred earlier today. Loss approx. $2000.

4:58 p.m. - Grand Theft - Occurred on Avalon Av. Front counter RP reports 4 packages were delivered/left on her front porch by UPS, but she never received them. UPS to contact driver; investigation continuing. 

5:18 p.m. - Reckless Driving - Occurred at Edgewater Bl/E Hillsdale Bl. RP reports a black motorcycle with female passenger weaving in and out of traffic and using the bicycle lane.

10:01 p.m. - Vandalism - Occurred at Foster City Bl/Bounty. RP witnessed a now parked white truck drive over the grass causing damage. Minor damage caused by possibly taking a sharp turn. Contact made with maintenance who declined any further PD action.

8:23 a.m. - Disturbance - Occurred on Edgewater Bl. Ongoing issue with loud music from an exercise class. RP declines contact. Officer on scene cannot hear music 20 ft. from class with windows down. 

5:48 p.m. - Harassing Phone Calls - Occurred on Nantucket. RP reports harassment by text message. Determined to be a civil matter; advice rendered.

9:58 p.m. - Suspicious Circumstance - Occurred on E Hillsdale Bl. RP reports a WMA and a female subject were possibly "scamming" the ATM by depositing and withdrawing cash several times using at least 2 ATM cards. Subjects were last seen 3 -5 minutes ago and were associated with a white vehicle.

1:58 p.m. - Misc. Hazard - Occurred on Polynesia Dr. Citizen reports water flowing from pipe behind secured garbage area. DPW checked and advised water coming from fire alarm system and can be addressed by property owner on Monday. Message left with 24 hr call center for property owner who will forward information for repair.

5:50 p.m. - Shoplifting - Occurred on Metro Center Bl. Shoplifter in custody.

8:43 p.m. - Suspicious Person - Occurred on Marlin Av. Report of a WMA carrying a black backpack walking around the neighborhood looking into houses. Area check made.
