Police Log, March 19-21: Graffiti, Purse Stolen from Car

12:13 a.m. - Reckless Driving - Occurred at E Hillsdale Bl/Shell Bl. SMPD requests area check for a black Honda Ridgeline, L/S heading WB on EHB into FC. Driver is known to SMPD's RP and is allegedly driving drunk. Vehicle and driver contacted, driver determined not to be impaired.

10:25 a.m. - Fireworks - Officer initiated activity at Promontory Point Ln. Officer heard loud bang in area. Possible source m80 firework. Area and surrounding checked.

5:17 p.m. - Missing Juvenile - Occurred on Foster City Bl. RP reports that her 13 Y.O. son failed to return home from Bowditch Middle School and was due at 1600 HRS. Juvenile was with his father and advice was rendered. 

5:20 p.m. - Auto Burglary - Occurred on Cygnus Ln. Front Counter RP reports that her vehicle was burglarized sometime between 2200 HRS & 0715 HRS today. Loss was RP's purse containing DL, credit cards, photos & other misc. ID. Method of entry is unknown.

1:06 a.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred on Tender Ln. RP reports seeing a BMA in a hoodie and gray coat looking into vehicles with a flashlight and trying doors. Subject was LS walking down Tender towards Prowshead after opening a vehicle door and looking inside. Area check made. Subject GOA, UTL. Contact made with R/O of victim vehicle who stated he had left it unlocked and that nothing was missing.

1:38 p.m. - Graffiti - Occurred at Tiller Ln/Wheelhouse Ln. Email report of graffiti at the end of Wheelhouse on the path by the pump station. Extensive area check made with negative results. Message left for the Rp requesting further information.

7:15 a.m. - City Ordinance Violation - Occurred at The Jumps on Beach Park Bl. Rp reports what appears to be a homeless encampment and a large amount of trash nearby. Subject contacted and collected his belongings and left the area. DPW contacted for clean up.

8:46 a.m. - Graffiti - Officer initiated activity at Tiller Ln/Wheelhouse Ln. Case taken for grafitti located on a green park bench to the right of the pump station.

10:13 a.m. - Vandalism - Occurred on E Hillsdale Bl. Rp reports unknown(s) broke the driver's side window on his vehicle sometime between 3/20/13 2200hrs & TOR.

8:24 p.m. - Found Property - Officer initiated activity at Sea Cloud Park, Sea Cloud Dr. Sgt. locates 2 books and returns them to the library.
