Police Log, March 4-7: Mattress Stolen; Injured Dog Found

7:05 a.m. - Graffiti - Occurred at Shell Bridge on Shell Blvd. DPW received an email reporting graffiti on the walkway under the bridge. Graffiti located on Corsair side, Bounty side and on a tree and light post. DPW given case number for removal.

7:06 a.m. - Vehicle Theft - Occurred on Matsonia Dr. Rp states his vehicle was taken 2 ago while warming up in the driveway. CHP180 signed and vehicle entered into SVS. Countywide BOL broadcast on vehicle made. Witness stated a WFA with dark hair wearing a black & white checkered jacket got into the vehicle and left going towards Balclutha.

7:26 a.m. - Graffiti - Occurred at Audubon School on Gull Ave. Janitor reports unknowns placed tables on top of one another in lunch area and graffiti with foul language written on a classroom door. Occurred between Friday 02/01 1500 hrs and TOR.

8:26 a.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred on E Hillsdale Blvd. Theft of 4 checks from office and cashed in San Mateo. Theft occurred on the 20th. SMPD has taken case for check fraud

7:53 p.m. - Animal Call - Occurred on E Hillsdale Blvd. RP reports that a neighbor's dog bit & clawed his leg in the complex's gym at approx. 1855 HRS today. Unfounded: no biting or clawing occurred; the dog excitedly jumped at RP and accidentally scratched his leg. Medical attention declined, no report desired. NFPAD.

12:34 a.m. - Graffiti - Officer initiated activity at Crowne Plaza Foster City, Chess Dr. Officer locates graffiti on the support column of the Vintage Park overpass of HWY-92.

7:27 a.m. - Graffiti - Occurred at Gull Park on Gull Ave. Parks employee locates graffiti in bathrooms at Gull Park.

9:22 a.m. - Suspicious Circumstance - Occurred on Rock Harbor Ln. Handyman believes he has been hired to remove a large flat screen from the wall at a residence he believes may not be the residence of the subject requesting the work. Contact made with leasing office who verified subject requesting work is the boyfriend of leasing resident and resides there as well. Rp advised and advice rendered.

10:10 a.m. - Graffiti - Occurred at Bowditch School on Tarpon. Graffiti found on rear of portable building. 

11:19 a.m. - ID Theft - Occurred on Andromeda Ln. Rp states his identity was taken and he believes his computer was hacked. No crime occurred and advice was rendered. 

2:46 p.m. - Grand Theft - Occurred on Flying Fish. Mattress stolen from residence while house under remodel. Occurred sometime over the weekend.

7:40 a.m. - Animal Call - Occurred on Spinnaker. Rp reports an injured dog in front of her house. Animal control responded for the dog.

8:01 a.m. - Lost Property - Occurred on Bodega. Rp reports 2 missing portable awnings from her back yard. Found at a neighbor's house down the street after last night's heavy winds. 

10:12 a.m. - Auto Burglary - Occurred on E Hillsdale Blvd. Report of an auto burglary. Rp advised of an extended response time due to a priority call. Taken were 2 GPS units and misc clothing. Occurred between 3/5/13 @ 2300hrs & TOR. Entry gained via front passenger window smash.

12:35 p.m. - Graffiti - Occurred at Shell Bridge on Shell Blvd. Graffiti reported on the west side of the bridge.

1:37 p.m. - Auto Burglary - Occurred on Edgewater Blvd. Front counter Rp reports her vehicle was burglarized. Occ'd between 3/5/13 @ 1830hrs & 0700hrs today. Taken was a black Garmin GPS. Unknown method of entry.

8:11 a.m. - Animal Call - Officer initiated activity at Foster City School, Beach Park Blvd. Loose dog located and reunited with owner after it jumped out of their vehicle

9:57 a.m. - Lost Property - Occurred on Foster City Blvd. Front counter RP left his cell phone behind yesterday at approx 1800 hrs, it has been shut off since & no one has turned it in.

10:56 a.m. - Graffiti - Occurred at Ryan Park on E Hillsdale Blvd. Report of graffiti at the amphitheater. Case taken for damage along the patio area.

1:59 p.m. - ID Theft - Occurred on Anacapa Ln. Rp at the front counter reports unknown(s) used her checking account to make purchases online.
