The music ensemble unifies Arabic music and cultures of all kinds.

FOSTER CITY, CA — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.
This submission comes from Mrs. Kimberlee Bouzid who nominated Ramsey of Foster City.

How do you know the star local student?
He is my son
Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?
I feel Ramsey should be recognized not only for his impressive and stellar GPA but for his contributions to a very special non profit. Ramsey does work for Aswat Ensemble the Bay Area's leading Arabic Music Ensemble. They are an amazing organization the brings together all cultures of musicians and singers to celebrate and unify Arabic music and cultures of all kinds. In todays world we need more kids that value giving back to their culture and society in ways that actually enlighten the souls of many. We are so proud of our son for his commitment to himself, his faith and society as a whole.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?
Ramsey is a brilliant, empathetic, charismatic human being that wherever he goes, touches people in so many ways. There are so many accomplishments I could list off but the most important is that he is a wonderful young man who cares so much for people as a whole. He is really one in a million and we are so blessed to call him our son.
Congratulations on your achievements, and all of our best wishes to you in the future, Ramsey!
