Cockroach Infestations Reported at Fountain Valley Restaurants
Thai Dishes Restaurant, The Blarney Stone and 7-Eleven were closed temporarily after county health inspectors found cockroaches at the establishments.

County health inspectors temporarily closed two Fountain Valley restaurants and a 7-Eleven recently after finding cockroaches inside the establishments.
Thai Dishes Restaurant and The Blarney Stone were closed by county officials on July 29. At the Blarney Stone, inspectors found several cockroaches on the floor below the bar. At Thai Dishes, cockroaches were found under the freezer, underneath preparation tables, under the equipment and several other places inside the restaurant's kitchen area.
The 7-Eleven, located at 16475 Harbor Blvd., was closed by health inspectors on July 30. Dead cockroaches were found on the floor near the coffee and soda machines, and on some of the walls.
Thai Dishes, the Blarney Stone and 7-Eleven each passed a follow-up inspection and reopened a few days later.
