• Man fired officer's gun and bit a sergeant at Fountain Valley PD, prosecutors say (ocregister.com) — A man is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly grabbing an officer’s gun, firing a round, and biting a sergeant inside the Fountain Valley Police Department lobby. Prosecutors say the confrontation followed several minutes of erratic behavior and refusal to leave, though no one was struck by the gunfire. The defendant, already on probation, has pleaded not guilty and could face decades in prison.
