Dorner's Mom Reportedly Spotted at OC Restaurant Watching News Coverage
During the big shootout, she sipped wine and ate chips and salsa at a Mexican joint in La Palma.
When Tuesday's gun battle erupted in Big Bear, a woman thought to be Christopher Dorner's mother was seen at a La Palma restaurant - watching it on TV.
Just before 4 p.m., a woman in a gray Honda pulled into the driveway of the home on Sharon Drive owned by Dorner's mother. She stepped out of the car, emptied the mailbox and entered the home. Members of the media rang the doorbell, but no one answered.
Neighbors later confirmed the woman was Dorner's 62-year-old mother, Nancy Dorner.

Half an hour earlier, someone who appeared to be wearing the same clothing and carrying the same purse was spotted at La Capilla Mexican Restaurant, located near the La Palma home.
According to KCAL9 reporter Michelle Gile, who was inside the restaurant, the woman was with another woman in the bar area having a glass of wine and eating chips and salsa while watching live footage of the Dorner manhunt and shootout in the mountains. The reporter approached the women and asked if they knew Dorner. Both said no but appeared nervous, according to KCAL9.
