Orange County health inspectors closed the Green Farm Market on Tuesday after finding a fly infestation. The grocery store violated three major health codes and 12 minor health codes, according to a county health report. The market was closed for "unsanitary conditions." Flies were found in: <ul> <li>preparation areas for meat, seafood and produce</li> <li>the warehouse</li> <li>the front entrance to the food area </li> <li>customer seafood and produce areas</li> </ul> Foods were found at unsafe temperatures, including: <ul> <li>fresh rice noodles (74 degrees)</li> <li>fish heads (62 degrees)</li> <li>salmon skin (62 degrees)</li> </ul> Food should be stored below 41 degrees or above 135 degrees, according to the county. Once discovered, the food was moved to a walk-in cooler. The market's health permit was restored Wednesday. The county has not yet released a report on its follow-up inspection.
