Fountain Valley Police Department Presents "The Dangers of Marijuana"

On June 2, 2016, from 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m., the Fountain Valley Police Department will be hosting a community event on marijuana at the Fountain Valley Recreation Center, located at 16400 Brookhurst Street. “The Dangers of Marijuana” presentation will discuss the harms of marijuana, the new marijuana industry, marijuana impacts on youth, and myths and facts. The program will feature Dr. Kevin Sabet and Judge Matthew Anderson. Dr. Sabet, a nationally recognized expert on drug policy, has acted as an advisor to three US Presidential Administrations and is the co-founder of Smart Approaches to Marijuana. Judge Anderson is currently the Presiding Judge of the Harbor Justice Center in Newport Beach where he supervises two Drug Courts and a DUI Treatment Court. This event is free to the public and can be attended by all ages.
