Shooting On Stevenson Boulevard Sends Victim To Hospital: Police
The shooting happened around 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Stevenson Boulevard and Albrae Street, just off Interstate Highway 880.

FREMONT, CA — One person was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound Tuesday, the Fremont Police Department reports. The severity of the victim's injuries has not been released.
No arrests have been announced.
"Based on preliminary investigation, this is an isolated incident, and there are no threats to the public," police said in a statement released to the public.

The shooting happened at Stevenson Boulevard and Albrae Street around 9:45 a.m. Earlier, police asked drivers to avoid the area because of an "on going investigation."
That intersection is just off the Stevenson Boulevard exit from Interstate Highway 880. It fully reopened to traffic at 5 p.m.
