EAST BAY AREA — If you’re old enough to remember when $1 million meant that you were stinkin’ rich, seeing an asking price of $1 million on a typical track home is almost inconceivable. Yet, here we are, tri-city.
With the inconceivable in mind, Patch set out on a comparison this week of local homes with an asking price of $1 million. There are plenty going for over that price, but we stuck to $1 million or slightly above. Both Fremont and Newark have homes at exactly $1 million, while Union City’s home closest to the mark is going for $1,049,999. (Go ahead, offer $1 million. We double-dog dare you!)
