Fremont Makes Top 5 List For Airbnb Rental Profits
If you don't mind having other people in your home, you can make some serious side money.

FREMONT, CA — Do you know anyone who rents out their home or condo on Airbnb? If not, you may be surprised to learn that Fremont is one of the most profitable cities in the US for rentals on the site. In fact, the company reports that the average Fremont rental brings in $26,700 per year. That's an extra $2,225 per month in income.
Drilling down the numbers further, the typical Fremont Airbnb goes for $204 per night with a 61 percent occupancy rate.
California dominates the list of most profitable cities, taking four of the top 10 slots.

Airbnb limited the list to cities with populations of at least 150,000 and took into consideration the average daily rate charged and average monthly occupancy rate in each city to determine monthly revenue. Read the full methodology here.
