FREMONT, CA — More Fremont residents are complaining to the City about real estate Open House signs. The concern is that they are being left out too long, and are being used as advertisements for the agents as opposed to directing home buyers to an Open House.

A Community Meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 27, to address the issue. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 3300 Capitol Ave.

City staff has been studying the issue since last year at the direction of the City Council and and plans to recommend changes in March. This month's meeting is an opportunity for the public and real estate professionals to have a say in the matter.
