• Over $20K worth of drugs seized at a north Orange County traffic stop (newsantaana.com) — Garden Grove is one of several north Orange County cities with unincorporated “county islands” served by the Sheriff’s North Patrol, which just seized over $20,000 in meth and crack during a traffic stop. Deputies arrested the driver on suspicion of possessing and transporting drugs for sale, and the department outlined the stiff prison terms and fines such quantities can bring under California law.
