Glendora Couple Celebrates 50th Wedding Anniversary

Tony and Nedra Miller of Glendora will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary Jan. 27, 2012.

The couple was married at Saint Lukes Catholic Church in Temple City at age 18. Tony and Nedra met at Schaubs Market in Temple City, Tony being a box boy and Nedra working in the Snack Bar. Tony and Nedra purchased their first home at age 19 and have been Glendora residents since.

The couple has three grown sons, Daniel, Dean and Brett, along with three granddaughters, Lindsey, Megan and Amanda, also great-granddaughter Alice.

It is said that the couple never slow down -- they have owned and operated liquor stores, a pizza restaurant, a very popular catering business and a grocery store, Finkbiners Market.

Tony has been employed with Glendora Dodge the past 21 years and Nedra with Community Companion Animal Hospital for almost 24 years.  The couple plans on retiring in about a year and a half to be able to spend more time at their Florida Condo and touring the US.
