Assemblyman Roger Hernandez Acquitted of DUI Charges

Jurors on Monday found state Assemblyman Roger Hernandez, not guilty of misdemeanor drunken driving.

Assemblyman Roger Hernandez was acquitted Monday by a Jury of

"I’m grateful to our judicial system for a fair and impartial process.  I look forward to continuing to focus on my constituents, and the people of the San Gabriel Valley," said Hernandez in a statement sent to Patch.

"California faces huge challenges and I intend to be part of positive solutions.”

Hernandez, who is running to represent the 48th district which includes Glendora, was arrested on March under suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. saying at the time that he had only consumed a couple of glasses of wine.

Hernandez and according to the charges filed by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's office.
