Closures on SR-60 and I-10 Freeways May Impact Your Driving

Caltrans will start closing portions of SR-60 from the 605 to SR 57 tonight and I-10 HOV project continues with weekly closures.

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close portions of SR-60 from the San Gabriel River Freeway (I-605) to the Orange Freeway (SR-57) separation, as part of a pavement rehabilitation project, authorities announced this week.

Caltrans is also closing portions of the San Bernardino Freeway (I-10) in the Baldwin Park area as part of the High Occupancy Vehicle lane construction project.

Closures are as follows and subject to change for the SR-60 Freeway:

Wednesday, July 25, through Friday, July 27

Eastbound SR-60

  • 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. – Up to three lanes between I-605 & Azusa Avenue
  • 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. – High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane CLOSED between I-605 & Azusa Avenue

Westbound SR-60

  • 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. – Up to three lanes between southbound SR-57 & Azusa Avenue
  • 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. – HOV lane CLOSED between southbound SR-57 & Azusa Avenue

Β Friday, July 27, through Sunday, July 29

Eastbound SR-60

  • 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.   – Up to three lanes between I-605 & Azusa Avenue
  • 7 p.m. to 9 a.m.Β Β Β Β  – Seventh Avenue on-ramp CLOSED
  • 12 a.m. to 8 a.m.Β Β  – HOV lane CLOSED between Seventh Avenue & Hacienda Boulevard
  • 11 p.m. to 11 a.m. – Connector from north- and southbound I-605 to eastbound SR-60 CLOSED

Westbound SR-60

  • 12 a.m. to 4 a.m.   – Up to three lanes between southbound SR-57 & Azusa Avenue
  • 10 p.m. to 11 a.m. – Fairway Drive and Old Brea Canyon Road on-ramps CLOSED
  • 12 a.m. to 8 a.m.Β Β  – HOV lane CLOSED between southbound SR-57 & Nogales Street
  • 11 p.m. to 10 a.m. – Connector from north- and southbound SR-57 to westbound SR-60 CLOSED

For the I-10 High Occupancy Vehicle Project closures are as follows and subject to change:

Wednesday July 25 and Thursday, July 26

  • Β 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Southbound I-605 connector to eastbound I-10.
  • Β 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Northbound I-605 connectors to I-10.
  • Β 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. – Northbound I-605 Valley Boulevard on-ramps.

Westbound I-10

  • 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Frazier Street. Baldwin Park Boulevard and Francisquito Avenue on- and off-ramps.
  • 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. – Up to 3 lanes from Puente Avenue to I-605.
  • 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. – Full freeway closure from Puente Avenue to I-605.
  • 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. – Connector to I-605.
  • 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Frazier Street, Baldwin Park Boulevard, and Francisquito Avenue on- and off-ramps.
  • 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Puente Avenue on-ramp.

Eastbound I-10Β Β Β Β 

  • 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Baldwin Park Boulevard on- and off-ramps.Β 
  • 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Up to 3 lanes from I-605 to Puente Avenue.
  • 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. - Full freeway closure from I-605 to Puente Avenue.
  • 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Connector to northbound I-605.
  • 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Durfee Avenue on-ramp.
  • 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. – Frazier Street off-ramp.Β Β 
  • 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Baldwin Park Boulevard on- and off-ramps.
  • 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Francisquito Avenue off-ramp.
