Cutest Puppy Award Goes to Wollie!

Patch launched a puppy contest in light of National Puppy Day. This super cute dachsund is the winner.

Meet Wollie Weiner (yes, that's his official name): He's a 3-year-old pure bred dapple dachshund,

He received 10 votes—five more than runner-up Bentley.

Here's a message from Wollie's proud owner Diana:

I think what makes Wollie great is that he is a very sweet dog, he loves to play and go to the dog park. Wollie understands some words in spanish such as premios (prizes aka treats), calle (street which means we are going for a walk)...I also wanted to include in this message that we take really good care of Wollie and he gets taken out shopping often to buy treats and toys at local establishments and that even though he won and he is very happy about receiving the prize, Wollie will be using the gift card to buy dog & cat food that will be donated to a local shelter...We have been inspired by our good friends Bicycle & Beans Heaven (donations dogs from Monrovia) to always try to give back to those in most need and we know that shelters sometimes struggle to feed all the animals they keep.

Thank you to everyone who entered their cute puppies in the contest! Congratulations, Wollie!
