Glendora's Shepherd's Pantry Holds July Fundraising Campaign

The Glendora nonprofit hopes to raise $80,000 by July 31, which will be used toward services it provides in the San Gabriel Valley.

GLENDORA, CA — Shepherd's Pantry in Glendora is holding a fundraiser through the end of July to help benefit San Gabriel Valley’s underserved communities.

Called "Nourish the Body, Feed the Soul," the fundraising campaign aims to raise $80,000 by July 31. Last year's fundraiser raised $40,000, according to a Facebook post from the nonprofit.

The group has already received around $31,000 in donations as of Friday, it said.

Money from the fundraiser will help pay for services provided by the nonprofit including haircuts, tutoring for children and resource counseling.

The group also has weekly food distributions and provides a home delivery service for people unable to travel to their Glendora location, the nonprofit said.

Donations to Shepherd's Pantry can be made online through Venmo, Paypal or its website.
