Sandburg Students Spread Holiday Cheer to Kids With Cancer

Students deliver presents to children at City of Hope medical center.

Sandburg Middle School students got into the holiday spirit by raising over $1,400 to buy gifts for the pediatric patients at the City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte.Β

Earlier this month, students shopped, wrapped, and delivered presents for 13 young patients with the donations collected from students and staff.Β

These patients battling cancer will be spending their holiday in the hospital, and the students volunteered their time to help make the holiday a little brighter for these patients.
