Highway 1 Reopens After Injury Crash In San Mateo County
One person was injured but responsive following the crash.
SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — A major accident between two cars shut down Highway 1 in both directions at Pomponio State Beach Sunday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash was reported at 1 p.m., and all lanes had reopened by 3:36 p.m.
One person was injured but responsive following the crash, which involved a blue Lexus and a motorcycle, according to preliminary CHP logs.
