Person Of Interest Identified In Restaurant Stabbing: Police
Tips from the community helped police identify the person, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.
HALF MOON BAY, CA — Authorities have identified a person of interest in connection with a stabbing earlier this month at a restaurant in Half Moon Bay, police said Friday.
Law enforcement had sought the public’s help, sharing photos of the person of interest, after a 29-year-old was stabbed during a large fight shortly after midnight Oct. 5 at Old Princeton Landing in the 400 block of Capistrano Road, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
Tips from the community helped police identify the person, the sheriff’s office said in a social media post, adding no arrests had been made as of Friday and no other people of interest were believed to be outstanding.

“The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the community members who came forward with information to assist in this investigation,” the agency said in the post.
The investigation remains active and ongoing, police said.

“Upon completion of the investigation, the Sheriff’s Office will submit the case to the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office for review,” according to the sheriff’s office.
