Top 3 priorities if elected:
Here is my list in order of priorities:
1. Independence/Local Control. The MWSD community has invested in their water company for over a decade now. I pledge to protect that investment.
2. Responsible Financial Management. Don't believe the campaign rhetoric. We have worked hard to maintain our AAA bond rating from Moody's which enabled MWSD to refinance and SAVE 8.6% on our payments of that bond . I will continue to keep our district financials in the best order.
3. Protect Community Assets. We have brought legal action only to protect the boundaries of our service area and protect our rights to serve our customers . From my decade of experience, I see this as a fundamental duty of this office.
Other highlights which will be on our near future agendas are: the end of the moratorium, adding another water tank to increase our reservoir, and continue working with our neighboring districts and Sewer Authority of the Mid-coast as we have for many years. But our top priority is our own ratepayers which we have always put first.
Have you ever held an elected or appointed public office?
Yes, I am running as an incumbent for re-election.
